maybe if the jonas brothers come out with a cd that's better than the crap they put on a little bit longer (which had two, maybe three, good songs) they can make up for the terrible terrible things selena will be offering the audience.

I agree with you completely! I love Selena Gomez' acting and she seems like a really nice person but singing really isn't her thing. I mean yeah, it's not like she's horrible or anything but come on! It's the freakin' Jonas Brothers! You would think they would pick someone else. Hopefully this is a rumor or Selena's voice turns into amazing quickly lol. I don't have anything against her though. I went to their Burnin' Up tour and Avril Lavigne adn Demi Lovato both were amazing (as well as Nick , Joe and Kevin haha)

It honestly saddens me to hear this. I'm not trying to get all dramatic on everyone, but I feel like if your lucky to get on Disney you are automatically entitled to a music career, acting career, and of course tons of money regardless of talent. I mean there are some exceptions- i think demi's voice is amazing and the jb's do have potential but anyone in their right mind would know that if Selena wasn't with Disney a music career would be out of the question for her. She most likely wouldn't even get past the first round of American Idol.

Meanwhile while Selena is getting all of this handed to her- a record deal and a chance to open for one of the biggest acts in the world, there are people that are million times more talented than she will ever be, but will never be able to show for themselves, because they don't have the right connections.

i totally agree. selena's singing career is a joke. i honestly don't understand why she's actually going through with making a whole album when she's already put out two music videos that neither of which have gotten positive responses. if she was truly a talented singer, people would already be raving about her by now and its actually quite the oposite. i also think its wrong how she's having it all handed to her, mainly because she's so bad. i mean demi pretty much had her record deal handed to her as well, but i feel like she was able to prove herself before her album came out with camp rock. demi does have a genuinely good voice, and selena does not. she is not deserving of a music career at all.
