Taylor Lautner GAINING WEIGHT To Save Twilight Role Of JACOB BLACK
Taylor Lautner is desperately trying to gain weight to convince Twilight producers he should return in the sequel, New Moon, as Jacob Black. He revealed to MTV, 'I have been working out. I've been working out since the day we finished filming Twilight. I just weighed myself today; I've put on 19 lbs.'
Taylor revealed that he's meeting this week with director Chris Weitz to make his case. 'I'm guaranteeing Weitz 10 more [pounds] by filming.' Costar Ashley Green added:
'We all love Taylor. He's such a sweet guy, so sweet and I think that he gets the part. And the thing is that the girls just love him. He is the teen heartthrob. I'm hoping that they don't replace him because we love him.' Photo: Fame.

Taylor obviously WANTS to keep playing Jacob Black, so he is gaining muscle to keep his role.

I do like Taylor I really do but I honestly don't think he fits Jacob in New Moon. He was great as Jacob in Twilight but not for New Moon. So I say go ahead and replace him with a taller, stronger actor.
