I'm not hatin' on Demi - she seems sweet enough; even though I think she's horrible live (but that's a WHOLE other topic). But she needs to drop the "gosh, gee I'm so honored to be invited" act. We ALL know she's being asked to perform not because of who she is but because of who she's associated with - JB and their management. JB was invited to perform - Demi was most likely negotiated as part of the package. She wouldn't have been on the AMAs, if JB wasn't there; she wouldn't have been on Rockin'New Year's Eve is JB wasn't there. It will be interesting to see what happens with the Grammys. But Demi is just not significant enough to warrant these appearances on her own.

Kevin has been workinh really hard at letting joe and Nick talk in interviews more. Its hard to break a habit that was kinda forced on you be necessity. When they first started out, it was Kevins job to lead the interviews cause of how he spoke to adults. nick was awfully shy and Joe was a jokester, so it was up to Kevin to be the one to speak for all of them in a professional interview environment. These days Nick is talking up a storm(look at those Bahamas interview vids. Nick was a talking powerhouse). Joe is now more serious, so he can answer more authentic questions. I am sure that the bigwigs are still telling Kevin to be the lead speaker in things like the GG. Kevin is working on it, but you cant expect him to go "cold turkey" all of a sudden on something he has been doing for 3 years

Demi wasn't even on the list, and then something changed when the JB were confirmed. They probably asked(re: demanded) she perform there. Miley was invited because the Obama girls love her. JB was invited for the same reason, but it doesn't sound like Demi was invited.
