Taylor Swift, 'I Hated My Hair!'
Taylor Swift revealed to BOP that she used to hate her curly hair: 'In school, I hated having curly hair because all the cool, popular girls had straight hair. I would try to straighten my hair, but it didn't really straighten that well! It would always have lumps in it, and in the back I'd leave one piece curly by accident.
All the girls would make fun of me for my hair because it didn't look like theirs, and I didn't have the confidence to wear my hair curly and I think it would've looked a lot better!
You finally get to that point where you're like,'This is who I am and this is what I was given. I was 15 when I was like, 'I'm not going to try to do this over and over again, and go burn my hair and try to go through all of that effort and pain just to look like everyone else!' I don't want to look like everyone else!'

i have curly hair, and i hate it, cuz everyone at school has straight hair! even my friend, who had curly hair straighted her hair and it's just so perfect now! im totally jealous!

plus my best friend had naturally straight thin hair, so i would always straighten mine to look like hers.
then taylor swift started coming around and because she actually had curly hair in a industry where every womans hair is straight and thin, I actually have confidence now to wear my curls.
I know its stupid of me not to be proud of myself and all that bullcrap but its hard when girls have gorgeous thin straight hair, and you have poofy curls.
Taylor actually helped me be myself, by her being herself. Which is why I'm glad she keeps her curls :]

It's just ways for them to have more articles in their newest issues to sell more.
Yes she keeps her curls, but do you HONESTLY think they look like that without a curling iron? Obviously she has to make her curls look like that. They don't try perfectly. I have curly hair and I have to curl my hair with my fingers when its wet so the curls come out looking like ringlets and not a big poofy mess. Her hair isn't perfect, don't be jealous. She has to work to make it nice like that.

Naturally i have thick wavy hair and i usually leave it natural because it is manageable (or sleep in loose braids to give it a more even wave)
Anyways... I've been trying to get my hair like Taylors using straightners and a curling iron and i just doesn't ever look like her small ringlets...

her hair is like never frizzy. i'm jealous! aha my hair use to be really straight and blonde when i was a little kid, than it naturally went to brown and curly. it's all crazy & frizzy.

her hair is super pretty. my hair is curly, a lot of people tell me it looks like hers (but brown), and it is sooooo much work to straighten. i don't do it very much, it's better natural. it take 2 hours to straighten!
