ppl can't judge from one or even five performances.
i've notice demi doesn't do good on tv shows or someone elses concert she gets really nervous9it's understandable..she's new) but when she's with her own fans she puts alot of energy and sings great! and i don't take miley fans seriously just for the fact that they like miley haha

Gotta agree with the last comment. Saw Demi when she opened for JB last summer; and saw Miley during BOBW. Demi was just awful - screams instead of sings and is VERY awkward on stage. Even her interaction with the crowd was awkward - all around uncomfortable.

Now, Miss Miley on the otherhand - say what you will about her voice (I happen to like it, btw) but that girl knows how to work a crowd! Very entertaining.

I get that you all want a rock band opening for her, but quite frankly, she's not really a rock chick. I've heard quite a bit of her music and sorry, but she's a still just pop singer like David is.

She and David are both talented, but I just scratch my head as to why either fan base thinks the other is superior. As someone just pointed out, David's sold twice the number of albums and actually has had a mainstream radio hit with "Crush." Demi doesn't get played outside of Radio Disney, but she is popular because of Disney and that's huge. So basically, they are pretty much equal in terms of success. Neither is better than the other when you look at the cold, hard facts.

David's tour is over now, BTW. He's opening for the UK band McFly during April and the first part of May, but he'll be free for the summer, so it's very likely that this may happen.
