went and saw this today thinking it will be shite like the series. but wow was I wrong, i honestly recommend to anyone whos not planning on seeing this or even the haters to see it, it deffo changed my perspective on her.

I'm not seeing it. BUT it will blow JB3D out of the water. No doubt. That said I think it's ridiculous to compare the two. The Jonas Brothers movie was a $15 3D concert movie. The Hannah Montana movie is a reguarly priced movie with an actual plot and storyline. Obviously more people are going to go see that. Plus I still believe Miley has a larger fan base than JB. That said I won't be seeing it because I'm not at all interested in Hannah Montana or Miley AND I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP TRYING TO COMPARE THE TWO. THEY AREN'T THE SAME TYPE OF MOVIE. YOU CAN'T COMPARE A 15 DOLLAR CONCERT MOVIE AND A REGULARLY PRICED MOVIE WITH AN ACTUAL PLOT.

Really Tim? You just have to make it so easy for people to insult the movie right? Why did you have to add that second poll? Loser...This movie is not winning an Oscar because it's target audience is not mature, and the only kids category they have is for animation. But I do think it's going to be a great movie and I cannot wait to see it.

i went to see it with two other friends at midnight (we are all 18) and everyone was singing to the songs and claping and the fans were doing the hoedown whatever thing,. it was fun. i mean, the previews looked good, but the movie was amazing. it really was. i never thought i was gonna watch a hannah montana movie AND LIKE IT. but damn this movie was really good.

Honestly, they shouldn't have done a movie PERIOD.

THeres a difference if its good enough to see in the movie theater. Alot of people will probably wait till it comes out on dvd. Also, alot of kids have the day off school because of Good Friday or they also have spring break so that may increase its sales. It might win a RAZZIE though.

I love both Miley and the Jonas Brothers. It's not about competition...the Jonas Brothers movie was a concert movie...not a motion picture. There is a big difference. Not even a mega group like U2 was able to outsell the Jonas Brothers with their 3-d movie. It grossed well over 25 mil...that's nothing to sneeze at.

If anything, Miley made Disney more famous. I'm already out of high school and I can honestly say I have never paid attention to Disney in the last 3 years. Of course I knew who Miley was, but I also didn't think she was anything special, I only saw a typical little Disney chick, like Hilary Duff who was my idol, and of course I was proud to see Hilary when she made it onto the TRL countdown and after seeing her in A Cinderella Story, but the truth is, she started to fade, because she wasn't anything interesting. She was special, of course, she has a great voice and is a talented actress, but as for personality, it could only be described as sweet. But when I saw everything going on with Miley over at Perez Hilton, I saw a girl who was different. Obviously many young girls at the age of 12 will see a slut, but this girl is Virgin Mary compared to what goes on in a typical high school. If you are 15 and older and you have virgin friends, I admire that because I had none. Miley is a great singer, you may not like that her voice isn't soft and smooth, but that is the attraction in her voice, it's unique and her stage presence is alot more captivating than most artists out there. Not only is she exciting and passionate, but you can see how she puts her heart and soul into her acting and singing. I have heard alot of people say "I love this girl and I don't know why" well because she has that "IT" factor. (well, more from the people my age, 17 and older. Yes, Miley has older fans in college because we love her Fuck It attitude)

I'm fine that you are not a Miley fan, it's all good. But, you have to remember that those at true fault of giving her attention is us, the public! Without us she would be nothing! I do prefer a movie to more series, it's a smarter thing to do b/c the franchise goes out in a big way! Instead of slowing fading into something worse and lower ratings.

I saw it today, I'm 15. It was So good! The theatre was packed, there were way more people then the Jonas Brothers movie..

You know, a lot of those talented people don't like the lime light. It's not them, they don't want to be as overexposed as Miley and Miley must like the ultra fame to a certain degree. If she didn't, she would have quit or done something very scandalous to get out of it!

And, hey! Hey Monday is a band I know but b/c I was up early in the morning watching MTV and saw their video, "Homecoming." Hey Monday needs to get more business savvy and promote themselves more and hanging out with the right people. It's how it works.
