Hannah Montana Movie Box Office HIT

According to BoxOffice.com's Early Weekend Estimates, Hannah Montana: The Movie is on pace to gross $35 million this weekend, while some estimate it will reaching the $40 million mark.

The opening will make HMTM the second-highest grossing Easter weekend release behind Scary Movie 4 [2006] which grossed $40.2 million [$44.1 million when adjusted for inflation].

The story line is fairly simple-will she be a singer or will she give it up to find true love with a farm boy. Ask me if I care. I'll give Miley Cyrus some credit. She is a likable actress and does pull off the title role, but thats about it. Personally, I'd rather see the sleazy pictures of her on the 'net, but you ain't going to get any of that in this film. Unless you are over 13, into REAL music or rock'n roll, there is absolutely no reason to waste 9 bucks and a trip to the multiplex on this. Stay away, stay very away!

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. I'm not saying Demi can't sing or isn't talented because I think she is, but in all honestly she doesn't have an incredible voice. Like you I agree that the other people don't have incredible voices either. Demi screams. There is a difference between belting and screaming. My older brother and dad both know music very well and agrees with me that she screams. I'm not saying she shouldn't be singing.I like some of her songs. Alot of artists today aren't amazing singers and I'm not saying she's horrible, but she is NOWHERE near Christina( I know you didn't say that but some people on here do) even for her age. Disney would never hire anyone with that incredible singing talent because they would be too hard to replace. I'm not hating on Demi. I don't have a problem with her and I'm trying ot start a fight. This is just my opinion.
