According to The Washington Times: 'Hannah Montana: The Movie isn't exactly high art, but that's not really the point, is it? Fans of the series will find much to enjoy here. Their parents? Not so much.'

This movie was not "torture" for all parents. I have proof because my mother, a 42 year old woman, enjoyed the movie as well as my 17 year old sister.

if they enjoyed the movie then its great. people have different tastes in movie. i dont really like hannah montana that much but i gave the movie a try. Now after watching it. Im interested on looking for who has recorded it from the very first time until the current season. its really interesting. and alot of parents who got out from the theater really think its great. the kids, and teens who's like 18 years old get up on their seats and sing a long and dance while watching a movie. its a really good time.

Miley seemed to gt positive reviews all across the board, except for maybe two or three. I read all the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and only three critisized her. That was out of 70 reviews. Most seemed to think she showed a lot of promise and carried the movie.

When I went to see it at work on Thursday night, I was with another girl and her mom and her mom loved it. I've yet to meet a parent that said they didn't enjoy it. But in reality, Hannah Montana would not be something concidered 'good.' Good for Hannah fans, yes. But compared to other great Disney movies, definitely not.

I went and saw the first showing of Hannah Montana on the Opening day and it was absolutly AMAZING, It was a really good movie

The critics are there to criticize movies. And that's what they did with Hannah Montana. Face it, it wasn't exactly amazing 'film' wise. I saw it, I personally didn't think it was 'good.' Mediocre plot and acting. Nothing great. Entertaining to the correct audience. Disney definitely knows how to make good movies(Wall-E, Finding Nemo, Remember the Titans, Enchanted). But in reality, Hannah Montana would not be something concidered 'good.' Good for Hannah fans, yes. But compared to other great Disney movies, definitely not.
