All 'JONAS' really has to do is be better than the hammy 'Hannah Montana',
and it is. But just barely. The title is in all caps because it was conceived as a spy show, with the letters standing for Junior Operatives Networking as Spies. But it ended up being about superstars who try to live a normal life at school.
(Stop me if this sounds familiar.) Producers have name-dropped 'A Hard Day's Night' and HBO's whimsical 'Flight of the Conchords.' But let's be honest: The high-water mark for this sort of project is 'The Monkees.' Full review here.

I think it'll be cute. The plots behind each episode are so not original though. Except the pizza girl theme. Hopefully the punch lines will make up for it, but other than that..I think it'll just be another mediocre show, which is overrated due to the fact the Jonas Brothers star in it.

It probably will be better but i don't think it will be for acting because from the clips i have seen they cannot act...but i think it will be better because they are not doing it in front of a live audience so everything wont have to be as rushed and they can take more time making scenes better. They kind of took the easy way out because all the other shows do it live!
This reviewer has seen one episode of JONAS and thinks it's SLIGHTLY better than Hannah Montana.
Personally, I enjoy HM and find myself cracking up at it plenty of times so it sounds like I shall be doing the same at JONAS. Looking forward to it!

my point was that the show is obviously less original and most likely won't be as successful. Yeah, the whole "keeping a secret" thing isn't anything new, but HM had an appealing and entertaining twist to it. JONAS is just Disney recycling their ideas. The Jonas Bros. aren't marvelous actors and aren't meant to be. Disney's just whoring them out. If its funnier than HM, than yay. If its not, then Disney sucks and I'm right. I'll give the show a chance, but I think I'd like HM better overall, thats just my prediction. It doesn't mean I think it's a fail. I just don't think I'll like it as much. I think Jo Bros should just stick to music.
