I think this is crap...I am 17 years old and I have always loved the Jonas Brothers, and I still do. My friends and I have called multiple times into the radio to hear Paranoid, but the DJ just doesn't play it. It has nothing to do with the success of the Jonas Brothers. I wish people would quit calling them failures.

The problem is that they are in the transition phase of their career. They are still know by a lot of close-minded adults as a kids band, but they are maturing a growing past their kid fans. They undoubtedly will lose some of their younger fans, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just gonna take some time for older audiences to realize that their music is good and not just for kids.

Plus, aren't they at #67 on the itunes top 100?

The radio stations in my area BARELY play anything at all by the Jonas Brothers; I heard Burning Up maybe 4 times max, no matter how many times I requested it. It's not the people who aren't wanting to hear the songs, it's the DJs who don't want to play it. I have yet to hear Paranoid played on the radio, and I doubt I ever will. It's a great song, just like all of their past singles. We all obviously need to just bomBARD the radio stations with Jonas requests. :)

at my radio station we have this thing called "battle of the beats" and basically they take two brand new songs and they play them both and then the listeners text in either A or B for which ever song they want. Paranoid won 5 nights in a row and made it to "the battle of the beats hall of fame" .. sooooo ya. it may not be doing well on other radio stations but its doing fine on mine :D

I love the jonas brothers, they AREN'T fading out, like really ! They have a sold out WORLD tour, a new CD coming out June 16, and endless amounts of projects that are still in production! (I.E Camp Rock 2, Walter the Farting Dog, MORE JONAS episodes) Kevin is 21, Joe is 19 and turning 20 VERY soon (well, a few months away), and Nick is 16 (almost 17!). The thing that is different with them is they aren't just some stupid boy band ! They write their own music, perform AMAZING concerts live/b>, and most importantly, PLAY THEIR OWN MUSIC LIVE. The jonas brothers started OFFICALY trying when Nick was only 12! It's been 4 years and look how far they've come! The thing is, they are growing up, but we're growing up with them ! people have faded out of liking them because they've gotten older, but those are the young kids (7&*8year olds) we have to let them know we still love them as artists !!! we have to buy their CD's, watch their show, go to their concerts, support them as MUCH as we can. They wont stop as long as we still love them and their music.

Once again, they're considered a "Failure" because they didn't meet expectations?
"We definitely have no expectations" - Yeah, that's right Kevin! Say it loud and proud for all to hear. Gee, why do they always need to have expectations? And they're right. They probably are going to lose fans, but in the long run it'll be a good change. They're moving up to an older audience, which is great for me because I don't really want to have my share of music to be mostly consisting of an audience of elementary school kids ... And as they get older, they probably need their audience to grow older with them. It's just change, which is going to take risk, but if that's what they need then that's exactly what they'll do. Change. Mature. Transitions. It's all a part of the process and it's natural. Growth means change, and change involves taking a risk.

PS: I actually love the song Paranoid ... Just by reading this, it's giving me the urge to lash out and call the radio station myself to request this song.
