Uhm, I used to love Selena way before she went to Vancouver and now recently she's been getting really annoying. Now, and not because of Taylor, I dislike her greatly. i love that stars can have this open connection with their fans now. they aren't so boxed in to what the tabloids and articles say. granted, they still have strings attached but this gives them such a better outlet to who they really are. people throw what you said 2 years ago in your face as if it is your current thoughts. the thing is, do you remember what you said 2 years ago? unfortunately these kids have the "documented proof."

i dont know how long its going to take for people to realize that no matter how much "proof" you have, you will never actually know that person. you can make up theorys about the kind of person they are, but then you just being judgmental and most likely making false assumptions. im glad she wrote this. certain words get thrown around too loosely and occassionally i am also a culprit but i have no problem admitting when i am wrong. only way people grow.

What makes you think Selena reads Oceanup comments? She reads people talking about her in EVERY site she goes, whether its on Youtube, Twitter, Myspace,etc!
so she's obviously not gonna throw away her computer because of this!

she doesnt necessarily have to have read oceanup comments to know what people say about her. people tell her via myspace, youtube, twitter all the time. i saw it less as venting and more on talking about a topic that i really dont mind being talked about. it effects more then just her which is why i think she get it less personal and more general in the first place. i dont think the topic could have been discussed in more mature way actually.

You don't see any other celebrity, politician, singer or sport star ravishing at what gossip sites say about them in public, do you? There is a reason for that.
There is nothing wrong about "complaining" in private. Is just that they are ought to receive criticism ALL THE TIME, and like hell it's time for them to grow up and deal with it. There is no point in letting people affect them in such way, and I know when they grow older they will come to realize that fact.

And the reading OceanUP comments thing was an educated guess, based on the fact that Miley does and that Selena has talked about this website many times in the past.
