Wizards Of Waverly Place SEASON 3
Disney Channel is grooming Wizards of Waverly Place as its next blockbuster franchise in the mold of High School Musical and Hannah Montana, according to Hollywood Reporter. WOWP, who stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie..
..Jake T. Austin and Jennifer Stone has been picked up for a third season with Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie to premiere in August. The show ranked in April as the No. 2 scripted series across all cable and broadcast television channels among tweens [viewers 9-14 years old].
Set to premiere in August, the Wizards movie follows the Russo kids as they embark on a vacation at the Caribbean resort where their parents met. Since DC discovered Selena during an open casting call in Dallas five years ago, it placed her in three pilots before getting her on the air with 'Wizards.'
DC President Gary Marsh: 'We knew we wanted her as a star in the Disney Channel universe.' Now the show is getting exposure in DCOM franchise that launched High School Musical. 'This is a great example of how we can groom our stars across different genres on different platforms.'

Jeanette's actually pretty good. I haven't heard enough of her to put her above Miley and Demi but her range is definitely stronger than Taylor's and Selena's. I'll have to wait until she puts out more music to rank her with the other two, since I've only heard her sing one song.

1.) I freaking love how practically only 2 posts in the comments are actually about Selena. I don't hate Selena, but I do think it's sorta funny.
2.) While I don't hate Selena, even Miley haters HAVE to admit that Hannah trumps wizards ANY DAY! You can go into and Walmart store in the country and literally all you'll see is Hannah Montana and Mileys face plastering practically every shirt/back pack/pillow case/bed spread/ etc... You have to be very ignorant to think that Wizards and Selena is more popular than Hannah and Miley. Selenas only not disney channel movie (other then Horton Hears A Who which she had a very small role in) was dierect to DVD. Miley was the main voice in Bolt and Hannah Montana The Movie went #1 in the box office making over 35 mill. plus her concert movie made over 6o mill. (4 times more then JBs movie made). People say Miley will never get and REAL movie but she already HAS! She's set to star in "The Last Song" which is based on a book by and the script is written by by Nicholas Sparks who wrote "The Notebook" and "A Walk To Remember". I think Miley will finally shed some of her "Hannah" image by doing that movie and will be taken a little more seriously by others. You personally may LIKE wizard better then Hannah, but over all, Hannah IS better then wizards. It's a fact, not opinion.
