Honestly, I used to not care about Trace but I saw the pic of Noah hugging him, and how sweet he is to his family on twitter. He leaves such beautiful words for his dad who isn't even his real dad, that is love right there. Billy Ray treating Trace like a son and Trace genuinely accepting and appreciating it.
