Bridgit Mendler, 16, is possibly being groomed by Disney to be a 'New Miley Cyrus'. She is set to star in a new Disney Channel show 'Good Luck Charlie', according to THR. DC Senior VP said: 'We just fell in love with her. She has all the attributes of a Disney star.'
Bridgit has played Nick Jonas' love interest on JONAS and appeared in four episode of WOWP. In GLC, she will play Teddy Holliday alongside Jason Dolley, who plays her brother Casey: 'When their parents go back to work full time after having a baby, the care and feeding of their new sister, nicknamed Charlie..
..falls to the teenage siblings.
A hook in the show has Teddy creating a video diary for Charlie that chronicles the day's adventures and offers her baby sister advice for when she grows older.
The parents on the show are played Leigh Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer while their 10-year-old son is played by Bradley Perry.'

Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are Disney's moneymakers. They are the hottest acts and it will be hard to replace them and find an act that causes as much buzz as they do.
It's going to be hard for any new Disney stars after Miley and JB to match up to their success. They've set the standards pretty high.
