nick and miley aren't dating, and they haven't been. they're enjoying being friends again, and believe it or not, it is possible for a boy and a girl to be bffs. trust me, one of my best friends is a guy and we hang out like nick and miley do, talk all the time & we even went to prom together, but we'd never date.
miley's still a bit hung up on justin just because they were so close for so long, so its only natural, especially when you're 16.
and even if nick and miley like each other, neither of them want to jump into a relationship right now. they want to be friends again, and not ruin what they've worked so hard to rebuild. maybe once they're less busy if they still want to be together, then they'll try again. but for now, its easiest for them to just be really good friends.
