Do you people understand how the movie industry works? In every movie that we've heard of so far that Miley will star in, the movies were made FOR HER. As in, she didn't have to audition or anything. Just handed over. Because she's popular and she has a lot of money, which is used for production costs (as her mother is a producer). Talent has NOTHING to do with it.

but why would she be so popular if there was no reason? i don't think shes a great actress, but she's only 16, she has a lot of potential. she has a great personality that people just fall in love with.

It's only because her giant fanbase of Tweens that enables her to get these roles so that she can even be compared with other actresses (who are a lot better than she is) in like TEEN award shows which are basically just popularity contests anyway SO OF COURSE SHE WILL WIN.
