i dont think so being that you can still here the flaws in her voice. its recorded, meaning she can do as many takes as she wants until she gets it as perfect as she needs it to be. but as i said, you can still here some of flaw, so i dont think its as overly produced as you think it is. not anymore then the rest of the renditions will be.

i have this theory that it was a tactical decision to make 'Fearless' predominantly the 'typical' teenage album. i am one of those fans, that adores the 'taylor swift' album and actually think it has a more mature lyric vibe. but i think taylor realized this album was her chance to get out that younger vibe while she still could since she is already going to be 20 this year. so it may be cliche is some ways, such as 'you belong to me' but in other ways i think she does a great job of putting life into words and really drawing something out of her audience. sometimes you need cliche and in your face to grasp people. i think its about the balance of both forms of writing. because i love the way she narrates a case of anorexia in 'tied together with a smile.' so yea, all about the balance.

I love Taylor Swift. Her songs are catchy, she's pretty, and original. She's a great songwriter. Her songs are easy to sing along to.

She can carry a tune, and her voice can be powerful at times. But (I'm a musical theatre major) her voice has no reverberation. It's just not that... pretty-sounding. Being a HUGE fan of West Side Story, I'm a little disappointed because her voice sounds very, very flat in this song. Obviously nothing compares to the original, but I have to admit I like the whole look of this video. It's so theatrical :)

i think all artists go through a period where they simply need vocal rest. jordin sparks couldn't even perform the other night. she even hemoraged her vocal cord ont he alicia keys tour. she's a great singer but some things are inevidable with constant singing.
