Wizards of Waverly Place is a breath of fresh air. It's weird that the children's show involving magical plots is one of the most realistic shows on television.

To start out with, the cast is extremely talented. You can tell that the creators really took the time to find actors that actually have comedic timing and can pull off subtle jokes and settle situations without being way over the top. David Deluise is a comedic genious, and actually has me laughing out loud from his facial expressions and comedic delivery. The parents on the show have some of the funniest moments and I love that because it opens the doors for adults to tune into the show without feeling like idiots. Selena Gomez is without a doubt the best young actress the Disney Channel has ever seen. She has great delivery, and the constant banter her and David Henrie deploy is hilarious at times. Selena gives off a very "Rachel Green-esque" vibe on the show. She reminds me a lot of Jennifer Aniston with some of her delivery which is very refreshing and likable. David Henrie is one of the gems of the show and ironically enough reminds me of David Schwimmer in some moments. The point is that the whole cast is very talented and the fact that they all have great chemistry makes the show very lovable.

The writing is the next characteristic about the show that makes it so special. I love how a lot of the jokes are settle and how the writers even get away with a few innuendos that are hilarious and allow the adults to enjoy the show too. The fact that GiGi McCreery and Perry Rein, both writers from Friends, are on the staff definitely is one of the reasons a lot of the jokes on the show aren't cheesy and are laugh out loud hilarious in some moments. You can tell that the writers really want to make the show more than just another cheesy kids disney sitcom. I've never seen characters on a Disney show seem so life-like and relatable as they are on Wizards of Waverly Place. There are many moments of the show where it is hard to believe that you are even watching the Disney Channel because everything just flows so much better, much like Friends and Seinfeld did. In a lot of ways Wizards of Waverly Place is one of the best live action sitcoms on all of television at the moment. Todd J Greenwald really knew what he was doing when he created the show and I am proud to be called a fan of it. Keep up the good work and everybody can't wait for season 3!

It's also important to note that the messages on the show are really great, and without the chemistry the cast has it wouldn't feel as strong and meaningful. I really hope the show goes on for as long as it can, because again, it's no ordinary Disney show. It is something very special and maybe a fourth and fifth season should be looked into? Just sayin'!

i honestly think the JB's acting is better than Selena's singing.
like, i would rather watch JONAS, then listen to Sel sing.
but that's just my opinion :P

alright i really don't wanna continue arguing, but wizards isn't even teaching people that theres a such thing as magic. i mean yes it shows a family that has powers, but its really teaching kids about mistakes and how you can learn from them. like how alex always learns from her mistakes when she casts spells without the dad knowing. well..at least thats what i get out of it.

The most popular shows of all time are shows such as Seinfeld, Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons, The Today Show, Friends all of those shows have been on for at least 10 years (or more) while Hannah Montana will be on for maybe another year. I must admit this season has been better than the other seasons. The vampire episodes were probably well received. But it isn't ashow a will miss when it is gone. It's better than some and worse than some.
