It's not going to be a serious movie. Like it's going to be a legit movie, but a comedy. They probably jacked the idea from "What Women Want" which is about a guy who can hear what women are thinking. Not that I really care. I'm kind of interested to see how this goes. Awful idea to make a project like that on her own.

It's a risky and difficult subject to turn into a good movie (She has too many limitations being a Disney star), her production company is abysmally inexperienced and the cast and producers are to tell you the truth lacking (Step Up 3D? is there such a thing?). And what about funding? New Line will not put a lot of resources into this movie, although it is somewhat smart that she choose Warner and not any of the Walt Disney Company studios.

I really like Selena and everything but she needs to find a formula to attract good movies or good proyects (admittedly difficult while on Disney, the only good proyects she's gonna have are all gonna be related to Disney)

err whether you are a selena fan or selena hater, if youve seen the mel gibson version of this, you would think its a bad idea.

That movie was even more unoriginal, but because of the excellent writing and great acting, it became a huge teen comedy success. "What Boys Want" might have the same fate, who knows? I just find it stupid how you're bashing a movie that hasn't even come out yet.

and Selena is a young 17 year old girl, she has her whole life to start taking the serious path. But right now she's a disney star and she has a fanbase to maintain. At least this movie might be PG-13 and it will most likely go to theaters.

So? A lot of movies are being pushed back right now, even Miley's The Last Song movie. That doesn't mean they're a "real fail".

Besides, the producers felt that Ramona and Beezus would be better for a summer release, which is why they pushed it back to August.

For some people, that's an excellent thing. Don't know if you've read all the shit written about her nose (ridiculous!) Selena is so pretty to me that any photo of her is beautiful.
