Tony Oller GIGANTIC Nickelodeon Show

Tony Oller, Grace Gummern & Gia Mantegna have joined the cast of new TeenNick [Formerly The N] show Gigantic, a new half-hour dramedy that takes a fictional look at the glitzy, chaotic and often hilarious life of being a Hollywood 'it' kid. The series is set to premiere early 2010 on TeenNick.

Set in the world of the Hollywood elite packed with A-list parties and privilege, Gigantic tells a coming-of-age story infused with pop culture fame. It’s not easy being teenagers growing up in the shadow of their parents’ superstar status, and Gigantic skewers the celebrity machine while exposing the humanity and comedy beneath the glamour of Tinseltown.

With an insider look behind the tabloids and gossip blogs, the series features an ensemble cast that includes: 17-year-old Anna (Gummer) and her younger brother Walt (Tony Oller), both kids of a famous movie star couple; Anna’s best friend Piper (Jolene Purdy); frenemy Vanessa (Mantegna) and Anna’s boy crush with a big secret Joey (Ryan Rottman).

Disney got popular doing all these Hollywood/Music scene type shows & now Nickelodeon is following suit with this show & that other one about the 4 guys. *sigh* What happened to originality & creativity? I guess those come second to making big bucks.

ENOUGH with shows about famous people!
Damn.

I hope the new generation of kids don't all grow up wanting to be celebrities after watching all these shows.
I pray they have good parents.

Just make a show about a group of kids in a small town.
But then again, it would take actual writing skills to make jokes out of mundane things.
So I guess I understand why Disney and Nickelodeon have stopped doing that.

Disneys not original either all of their "original" movies have the same storyline but in different settings

they start out all nice then lie or do something they arnt supposed to do .. get caught in it or mess things up in some way (or even have the mean girl or guy) mess them up in some way but it the end everyones BFF its like disney is telling kids to lie cause everyone will still like you in the end ..shizz like that doesnt happen in the real world but every single one of their movies has the same plot
