Selena Gomez THE SEVEN RAYS Role
Selena Gomez is in talks to star in The Seven Rays, book turned movie. TSR Twitter confirmed that they met with Selena for lunch to talk about the movie. Plot: When seventeen year-old honors student Beth Michaels starts receiving gold envelopes with messages like, YOU ARE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE, she thinks that a crazy person might be stalking her. When she begins seeing people’s thoughts, feelings, and personal histories on their electromagnetic fields, she thinks that she might be a crazy person.
And then when the hottest boy in town, Richie Mac, kisses and becomes obsessed with her, she knows that something’s up. But she can deal with all of that until her mom gets freaked out by her erratic behavior and sends her to a psychiatric institute for observation. It is here where Beth finds out that she was adopted under mysterious circumstances and perhaps has supernatural powers.
Now all she has to do is break out of the ward, with Richie’s help, and road trip to New York to discover who she really is and why all this is happening to her… Is it possible that Beth might be more than she thinks she is? The Seven Rays is a paranormal coming-of-age story that delves into love, friendship, family and the supernatural. Do YOU think the movie sounds like a good match for Selly?

doesnt this sound like a rip off of Push, Final Destination and Harry Potter and all other fantasy plots? Main character lives a normal life until their powers start to play a bigger role in their life. They meet up with some sidekick and look for explanations and resolutions, blah blah blah? The whole "i'm going crazy" thing sounds interesting though, like the part where her mother wants to admit her to a psych ward, that story line may make all the difference. It sounds like a Christopher Pike novel.
When does What Boys Want start filming? I can't wait till Beezus and Ramona. This is gonna be a hard role to pull off with all the psychological factors going into it, but she can do it:)<3

I'm 17 I like the Supernatural themed movies/tv shows.
Oh wow...Ok, I think Selena is a fine actress for the roles she's done, but calling her the next Jolie and saying she's the best teen actress? No freakin way, let's see her do something that is not aimed at an audience of 5-10 year olds and then I will praise her. I am intrigued at her future endeavors but I won't say she's there yet. i don't understand why people are saying this role is for miley. miley can just barely pull of hannah montana. selena stars in a show that has SUPERNATURAL content and she definatly pulls off. selena is talented when it comes to acting. in wowp she sometimes has to talk to a green piece of tape & she makes it believeable. miley is a GREAT singer. no doubt. but this role is not for miley, alot of roles aren't for miley. she shouldn't even have the role of ronnie in "the last song"
