I don't think it would sound right if he mixed theatrical singing with pop/rock music. Plus I still think they want him to sing higher notes like he used to when he was younger instead of his deep voice for some reason. But they have to realize that Nick can no longer hit the higher notes and he should stop trying. His voice sounds so much better like this. <3

Wow! Seriously amazing vocals! Nick Jonas should be very proud of his work. I talked with a girl last night who went to the show in London. She said the audience was truly blown away. The lady she sat next to was a critic for some theater magazine. And said that she was skeptical but she told her at the end of the show "One of the best performances she's seen of Les Miserables...and that Nick Jonas truly impressed her...was the perfect Marius."

Saw some of the reviews...from Broadway World and London newspaper. They gave Nick big praise.

No, I agree, it would be silly if he started singing like this, with the accent and all haha. I just think he should sing with a more open voice. Like in "Who I Am," I love the beginning, when he's just singing normally, and then his voice gets all strained and it bothers me. And yeah, like you said, I think it has something to do with him trying to hit high notes.

Listen to Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. That is Marius solo (Nick's solo) so he sings the whole first part all by himself. If you haven't seen Les Miserables...it is the part when Marius is supposed to be recovering from his injuries (from the battle at the barricade), it's very emotional about the deaths of all his friends who died and he doesn't understand why he was spared.

Nick did an amazing job singing it!

"Little Fall of Rain" is sung by Eponine and Marius (Nick). Eponine is shot when she tries to deliver Marius a message from his "love" Cosette. Secretly, Eponine loves Marius but he loves Cosette. Eponine dies in his arms. It's another very emotional part of the play.

I love all the skeptics. It is him people. This audio is even posted on several respected websites. And several people who were at the show last night said it is indeed him.

He is singing in a theatrical voice with an accent. That's how Les Miserables is sung.

The best one to listed to is "Empty Chairs..." The whole first part of the video above is Nick singing his solo part. Then Cosette comes in...she has a very "opera sounding" voice.

YES. FOR THE FINAL TIME...IT REALLY IS NICK. There are several people from last night who were at the show and confirmed it. Also, the girl who recorded these video's took a picture of her program and tickets from last night as well to prove she was there.

Nick is so impressive, that Sir Cameron McIntosh asked him to sing as "Marius" in the 25th Anniversary Les Miserables Concert at the O2 arena in October. The tickets sold out within a few hours and they had to add a second show.

Cameron McIntosh is also getting ready to adapt Les Miserables into a musical movie version. Could you imagine if Nick got the role of Marius??

Girl I talked to on-line last night was at the show. She said the fans were very respectful. They did applaud the loudest for Nick but only at the end of songs. They didn't scream in the middle of any acting.

The whole cast received a stading ovation at the end of the show.

Yes, I listened to Empty Chairs. And honestly, Nick sounds so so so AMAZING. Not even kidding. His voice sounds so liberated and not constrained, like how it is with JB songs. I wish he'd let his voice go in future albums. Because he sounds lovely.

I love and respect this boy so much and his voice, Wow! He's so talented his talents have talents. I'm totally in awe of him and he actually gets recognized for his work and not for scandals. It's called stage makeup. They put like 10 pounds of makeup on theatre actors because of the bright lights. Without it, eyes would look like tiny dots, and skin would be ghostly pale. Downside is that offstage, you look like a whore.
