Disney Channel’s 77th original movie 'Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie' premiered Friday night as TV’s No. 1 entertainment telecast of 2009 in Kids 6-11 (4.5 million) and Tweens 9-14 (4.0 million) and became cable’s No. 1 telecast in Total Viewers (11.4 million), according to TV By Numbers.
The movie bowed as cable’s No. 1 telecast this year for kids & tweens, topping iCarly and Jon & Kate Plus 8. Disney Channel has basic cable’s Top 4 scripted telecasts since 2007 with 'High School Musical 2,' 'Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie,' a 'Hannah Montana' telecast and 'Wizards On Deck With Hannah Montana'. 'Send it On', Disney's 'Friends for Change: Project Green' anthem, performed

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 on Radio Disney.
The 'Send it On' music video premieres FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 on Disney Channel, and SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 on Disney.com and the ABC Television Network.
A half-hour special programming event 'Lights, Camera, Take Action! Backstage with Disney's Friends for Change' taking viewers behind the scenes during production of the campaign, will premiere FRIDAY, AUGUST 28.
