emma-watson-money.jpgEmma Watson revealed to Daily Mail that she has 'no use' for money and she's 'uncertain' that her future lies in acting. Emma revealed: 'It's weird because I've always felt uncertain that acting is what I wanted to do, especially compared to Dan and Rupert. I think that's because I was nine years old when I was given the part without even going to acting school. '

Just because this has happened to me doesn't necessarily mean it's the right thing. 'I didn't know I wanted to be an actress, they just found me out of nowhere. So it's taken me a little while to work out that this was what I wanted to do, well, for now. I've come from a background of lawyers and academics. We didn't watch films in our household. I mean, I had no idea who Maggie Smith or
Gary Oldman or any of these people were.

On her millions: 'Why would someone my age need this much money? Let's face it, I don't really have any use for it. 'It may sound weird, but I just want to be like my friends and they don't have that kind of money. So if they are going to the cinema, I go to the cinema. I try to live a regular life, but it's not always easy. '

On dating: 'I don't think women know what they want anymore, I certainly don't.  don't know whether I want a nice guy to pay because that's a nice thing to do or whether I want to be an independent woman and pay for myself. I'm genuinely confused about the whole thing.'

emma-watson-public-transport.jpgEmma Watson recently did a cute interview with USA Today. Apparently, Emma enjoys taking the subway, plays tennis and field hockey, and goes shopping with her friends. She can't fathom living so removed from reality like Princess Pea in her new movie The Tale of Despereaux:

'I can't imagine anything more lonely, just not being able to be part of the real world and being trapped and locked in hotel rooms and cars. I get stopped by people, but that's fine. I'd never want to be so famous that I couldn't live a normal life to a certain extent. I have a more normal life than people expect. When I take public transport, people are like, 'That girl looks like the girl from Harry Potter, but it can't be her on the tube.'

On Harry Potter: 'We're a year older than our characters, so I feel like the film was about what I was experiencing a year ago, which was this kind of awkward playoff between girls and boys and the miscommunications that happen and the different way they think about things.

And then I'll be done. It's so much a part of my life, and it's going to be so strange when it's over. It's strange being 18 and thinking about the fact that probably I will never be part of something this big again in my lifetime.'

emma-watson-bitchy.jpgEmma Watson revealed to AOL Moviefone that she believes Hollywood actresses are 'bitchy'. Even though Em loves the LA lifestyle, she would hate to be compared to it's young crowd: Gosh, I could never be that bitchy. I think that living in England, it's very disconnected from Hollywood. There's a very different approach and attitude towards it.

Acting in a starry way is just not tolerated. You will just have the piss taken out
of you. I think that it's a wonderful lifestyle that you have [in LA]. The weather is amazing and everyone seems very healthy. It seems like a really nice place to live. Obviously, if I had to film here or whatever, then that would be great. But I don't really know a lot of people here.'

emma-watson-skinny.jpgEmma Watson dished to Grazia on Hollywood starlets going crazy: 'I can totally understand why they go nuts. The level of interest in their lives and the pressure to be perfect, and they're teenagers. And that's what you do, you screw up. I feel it's very hard, so I would never criticize.

And in Hollywood you have to be super skinny, right? I don't think I could ever do that, and I also don't think it's very pretty to be really, really skinny. It's no inspirational at all for me. I'm lucky that I'm this size naturally, I don't diet.

And it's just not something that I aspire to, to be super skinny. I love chocolate and pasta and I love baking. I make a great raspberry amaretto cake.

emma.jpgProducer Gary Ross praised Harry Potter actress Emma Watson in a recent Sudbury Star TTOD article: 'I think she is the most talented young actress of her generation. I think of everybody coming out of the Harry Potter movies, with all due respect to them, she's the one you go, 'Oh my god, this is a classic movie star and will have a very, very long career.'

She has a Kate Hepburn grace or Grace Kelly countenance, in terms of her style and bearing and how articulate she is, and at the same time she is a hell of a good actress.

She's somebody who has complete control over what she's doing and amazing facility. The girl's 18 years old. You're seeing someone who's going to be an enormous movie star. You're seeing someone who just brings so much craft and dignity in what she does and approaches it. Look at her contemporaries..

..and look at how this girl is handling both her career and her attitude toward her craft, and how in control of her craft she is. I've worked with a lot of actors and can make complex adjustments on a dime. She has tremendous control.
This is a very sophisticated actress already.'

emma-watson-naked-film.jpgEmma Watson said she would get naked for the right filmmaker. When Britain's Sunday Times asked Emma the nudity question, she said, 'Yes. For Bernardo Bertolucci. It.. depends. I'm not getting my kit off any time soon, but it is part of my job.'

However, Emma is still looking forward to head of to college: 'I'm going to have a battle on my hands, because after Harry Potter has finished, I don't know. I definitely want to go to university. I'm at a strange age, I'm not a woman yet, but I'm not a girl any more.

Film companies say, 'Oh, in a couple of years you'll be perfect for this.' I'll be like, yeah, but I want to be studying English then, so it's going to be quite tough to choose between the two.'

In related news, Emma is reportedly dating Australian Angus Willoughby. They are planning a holiday in Western Australia this summer to enjoy it's wineries and beaches. Angus is studying at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Em talked to MTV about her upcoming film, etc: 'I'm attached to a film called 'Napoleon and Betsy' which will hopefully get shot in 2010. I've got the colossal final book ['Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'] to finish off, and I'm going to university in September. I'm looking at scripts and auditioning. I'm very excited to do roles beyond 'Potter.' It's a very exciting time for me.

Where are you going to school? 'I may stay in the UK, but I'm also looking at universities in the States, on the East Coast probably. I've applied already to some schools over there.'

What kind of roles are you looking for? 'I want when people look back on my career for them to not be able to put me in a box and say, 'She always played this kind of role.' I want to do everything. I would love to be in a musical.

I want to sing.
I want to do a crazy Baz Luhrmann 'Moulin Rouge!' sort of thing. I'd love to do a period piece. I'd love to do a French film. There are so many options out there!'

emma-watson-ocd-control-freak.jpgEmma Watson featured in Sunday Times Style Magazine, December 7. Emma revealed that she's no into vanity rubbish: 'Spending a whole day getting ready is ridiculous.' She normally does her hair and makeup herself, having learned from growing up around makeup ladies.

'My surrogate mums. I hate wearing an outfit that looks too put-together and perfect. I choose the things I wear myself because I'm such an OCD control freak.'
