um, get your facts straight. miley helps with charities all the time. city of hope, boys and girls club of america, stand up to cancer, etc. she even runs a charity dedicated to her grandma who died. she donated all of her birthday money (which was OVER a million dollars) and has been doing SO much more. i seriously could write pages about all the charty work miley does. i know selena does a lot too. but seriously, dont even compare the two. they are both great girls helping the world :)

Ok, so to start off, she is not saying Puerto Ricans are horrible animal abusers, she knows animal cruelty is happening everywhere, it just seems worse in Puerto Rico right now, plus that is where she is...since she's shooting the WOWP Movie. I had NO idea that this was happening in Puerto Rico right now, because everyone here is so wrapped up in this economy thing. I am so happy and proud that Selena IS trying to make a difference. Animals have always been a big part of my life, I've had dogs since I was born and I've had cats since I was 2. I've also had almost every animal under the sun.
These people who are saying "Oh how cute...I still hate her" and crap like that HOW COULD YOU HATE HER? What did she ever do to you? It's not like she's done anything wrong, if being a great role model for little kids and teens, is a reason to hate someone, you must have a problem. But the bad thing about Puerto Rico is, they dont just have the animals on the street, they kill the animals FOR FUN! It's just not right. This makes me so happy. I'm from puerto rico and whenever I visit we see dogs EVERYWHERE! It's really sad bc i always want to take them home with me and help but i'm not allowed to bc they could have an illness like rabies or something. But We always give them food and water when we see them and play with them. And sadly that's not enough but it's all i'm allowed to do. I'm am so happy these people are doing something about it. It's kind of sad though that it's not until a celebrity gets involved that people are finally helping more. But i'm thankful for anything that's helping the dogs out.

I almost cried watching the video. It reminded me when I was visiting my family in Mexico, there was a homeless dog who was so skinny, his bones were popping out. He would always lay in the corner of my aunt's store. I would feed it food everyday, but then these horrible kids put gasoline on the dog and lit him on fire. I didn't see it, but my aunt did. It broke my heart.

Yet, she still eats meat and buys leather handbags. Probably also wears fur or wool. Most fur comes from china and are made from cat and dog fur. Maybe she should actually research the topic of animal rights/liberation before she stars in a documentary. Yeah, it's sad, but helping people out for a few days isn't going to change much.

You guys, from the comments that I've seen you guys need to stop talking about the comparison of Selena and Miley! Commenting on this video was an oppurtunity to say things that relate to the video! So can we all please just comment on the video and not about this fight between Selena and Miley? I think that this video was heartwarming. If Selena probably didn't volunteer, probably none of us would know about this organization! I am a fan of both Miley and Selena so I'm not saying Selena is better. But I just think that it was really nice to volunteer to take 4 rescued dogs for her own and to support this. BOTH MILEY AND SELENA RULE!

it's not about how she looks, she was helping dogs the entire day, on a beach, who cares how she looks, even though she looks gorgeous.

listen I don't like selena, and I know this will sound terrible cuz she's trying to help a cause..
but I HATE it when "celebs" do this, and she isn't even a real cebrity.
They go out and help ONLY because there's a camera there taking pictures or video taping them. Or they choose to help first and then make sure there's someone with a camera there to take pictures.

I'm not the biggest fan of Selena but i do have to say this is so sweet of her even if Miley did it first, who cares? many people do it it's not just Miley (i love her too though).
