Jamie Foxx, knowing he was fighting a losing battle in the court of public opinion, apologized on camera to Miley Cyrus tonight for some random off-color remarks he made about the teen queen on his satellite radio show over the weekend.

“Did you say something inappropriate?” Jay Leno innocently queried of the Oscar winner on Tuesday’s Tonight Show.

“Yeah,” Foxx admitted, taking a few breaths before launching into a full-blown apology.

“I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere,” he began. “I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. [Big laugh from the audience]. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far. I have a radio show…We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. The interesting part is, after he stated he would call Miley, it turns out so far he hasn’t. No one in the Cyrus camp has heard a peep from Foxx since he’s come under attack for crude jokes he made about the Hannah Montana star on his radio show, according to a source close to the family.
Miley’s dad, Billy Ray, is particularly upset, according to the source.

“He thinks Jamie was out of line and didn’t find any humor in it,” the source told me this afternoon. “He doesn’t understand why he would do that to Miley especially since he has teenage daughter himself.”

A rep for the Cyrus family has declined to comment on the Foxx controversy. “Billy Ray isn’t going to say anything publicly because he doesn’t want to this to escalate,” the source said. “He wishes it would just go away.”

their music is alright, & their acting is decent.
however i went to a concert & it seemed like they were trying too hard to be taken seriously. . when most of the audience was made up of little kids. i'm nineteen, aj's age, so i understand that they want to be seen as more mature artists, but since they had videos on disney & aly started her career there, i don't know how simple that will be for them.
also, i saw them outside the show & they seemed a bit rude. i am NOT saying that because of the jonas brothers; i'm saying it as an observer.

Just out of curiosity, how the hell do you try too hard during a concert? I mean, I've never been to one of their concerts, but from some videos I've seen, all they do it prance around the stage, play instruments and sing, which sounds about right to me. I mean, I guess as long as they don't change clothes every other song or have back up dancers, I don't really see how they could be trying too hard. Not trying to attack you if it sounds that way, though. I'm just curious because I couldn't find anything that separated their concert from any other normal person's concert...

So I'm late to this post but I just wanted to add that I love the color of AJ's hair. Sucks for them though that the wind was so out of control. It must have been so hard to try and keep the hair in place.
