Hairspray director Adam Shankman dished to MTV sequel details [The film hits theaters in July 2010]. Shankman will likely remove the possible plot line of Zac Efron to taking acid ['or something like that']: 'I think that's probably part of the treatment that won't get used. In the treatment, [Zac's drug use] is an accident.'

He'll likely keep John Travolta's weight-loss storyline. 'It has Edna getting hooked on diet pills.' On a suggested title: 'Let's put it this way: It's called 'Hairspray 2: White Lipstick.' [That's a] butch title. That's what the
treatment was called!'

The original title for 1998's 'Hairspray' was 'White Lipstic named after the Sixties fashion fad. On returning characters: 'Yeah, probably [no Michelle Pfeiffer]. Not because we didn't love her, but because we just thought different adversaries [would be necessary]. There'll be a change in villains.'

The film will use the Vietnam War as a backdrop, but it's not Zac's Link Larkin who'll be drafted. Shankman, 'No, it wasn't Zac. Wow, you're getting a lot out of me for something I said I wouldn't talk about.' Photo: Fame.

Zac Efron ate dog food that girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens had left on the table for her dogs. A source revealed: 'Vanessa bought her pet dog Shadow some cakes from upscale pet store The Wagging Tale. She left them on the counter, and Zac ate a few. He said that they were good, if a little bland.'

Nessa previously admitted that Zac likes drinking raw eggs for breakfast. She explained that he's not really a cereal guy: 'He's more of an eggs kind of guy. If he's feeling lazy he just drinks them.' Have YOU ever eaten dog food?

Vanessa Hudgens enjoyed a dreamy 20th birthday with boyfriend Zac Efron Sunday afternoon. Zac arrived at her house beautiful bouquet of flowers and a large gift under his arm.

He then drove her to LA eatery Stanley's. The two lovebirds walked arm-in-arm and Baby V even revealed a bit of her midriff in a sexy top as she sauntered into the restaurant.

The two stayed for about 2 hours before leaving out the back and returned  to Nessa's to continue the birthday celebration in private with the sex toys they bought recently. 12+ Photos: Fame.

Hairspray sequel details from MTV. Producer Marc Shaiman spilled about the plot: 'John Waters wrote a treatment that is so f-king hysterical! I don't know how mainstream it would go if he really stuck to his ideas; it would be a real John Waters-style film.

People hate Tracy [Nikki Blonsky] because she doesn't lose weight. They ask 'Now that you're famous, why won't you lose weight?'. Link [Zac] experiments with drugs. Throughout half the movie, he has an ongoing dialogue with three pimples on his forehead.

Edna John Travolta loses weight, but sees her husband [Christopher Walken] lusting after fat women. And so, she finally breaks down and runs over to a snack table.

Just within one number, she gets fat again; gaining 20 pounds at a time. Her fat pops out, and by the end of the song she's completely at her old weight again..
